Julie Lopez is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping couples and individuals heal from infidelity, trauma, and addiction. Before becoming a therapist, she worked in the biological sciences, and her love of research continues to shape her clinical approach. Her favorite colleague is her husband Job, who went back to school with her to also become a licensed professional counselor. They enjoy working with clients together, especially those going through relational injury and recovery. Julie’s work is grounded in evidence-based care and informed by attachment, interpersonal neurobiology, and the study of grief and trauma.

She works with couples, individuals, and groups, and has specialized training in the treatment of trauma and relationship infidelity. Julie is especially passionate about supporting people as they recover from relational wounds and rebuild trust, safety, and connection in their lives. She also has a strong interest in the emerging science of psychedelic medicine and its potential to support healing for those recovering from trauma, addiction, and relational betrayal.

Her approach is compassionate, relational, and deeply informed by both science and human experience, helping clients move toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
